Welcome to All Creatures Animal Hospital
All Creatures Animal Hospital is spearheaded by the husband and wife team of Drs. Michael and Karolyn Akins, DVM. The good doctors are joined by an outstanding staff of Registered Veterinary Technicians, veterinary and hospital assistants, groomers, and office staff, all of whom are dedicated to providing the best veterinary care available in the Dunwoody and Metro Atlanta area.
Our veterinary team excels in preventive veterinary care and is proud to provide a comprehensive range of medical services, including surgery, dentistry, behavioral and nutritional consultations, dermatology and eye care, and more. We pride ourselves on treating not just cats and dogs (although we do love them), but also the pocket pets, small mammals, birds, and reptiles that call our community home.
Excellence Through Education
Part of what sets All Creatures Animal Hospital apart is its commitment to education. Not only do we consider client education to be a cornerstone of our practice, but also we continuously strive to stay current in the ever-changing field of veterinary medicine ourselves.
As our client, you can rest assured that we will always take the time to ensure that you understand the ins and outs of your pet’s health and any conditions he or she may be living with. Likewise, we will take the time to help you know how you can support your pet’s health at home, and we will make ourselves available to you to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
As your veterinarian, we promise to never take your pet’s health for granted and to treat both you and your pet with the compassion and respect you both deserve. As an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital, we uphold the highest standards of veterinary care. We take our commitment to the art of veterinary medicine and the care of our patients and their people very seriously.
