All Creatures acknowledges that sometimes the cost for medical services and medications can become costly. We do our best to provide our clients with a large variety of payment options to help with the costs of care. We have a payment plan option for preventative wellness items to monthly called Pet Centric Health. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash. We also accept ScratchPay, Care Credit, and Trupanion partnership insurance payments. Check out our financial programs available:

Pet Centric Health Care Plans

PetCentric Health partners with vets to provide a solution that allows pet parents to pay for their pet’s care through a monthly subscription offering. Each plan is designed and customized by vets for their unique pet parents and includes what your vet recommends for best practice healthcare! This ensures pets receive a holistic primary care foundation to increase the likelihood of better health outcomes over time. It also allows for you to have better financial control and predictability regarding your pet’s healthcare spend.

CareCredit credit card

CareCredit is a third-party credit card that can be used to pay for pet (and human) healthcare services. All Creatures Animal Hospital offers this payment option to help clients with the financial aspect of their pet’s medical care. Scratchpay Loan

Scratchpay is a financial technology company that has been around since 2016, and it currently provide 5,500+ partners an easy way to care for more patients via client payment plans. It provides clients payment plans to finance their care by allowing clients to apply for a financial loan to use at the All Creatures Animal Hospital. 

It provides three financial loan repayment options: 

• Take 5! - 0% APR offer, where a client puts down 1/5th of the cost of service at the time of care, and then pay back the remaining 1/5ths every other week for the next 8 weeks.
• Pay Later Plan - 3 month repayment plan, with 0% APR offer
• Pay Over Time Plans – 12 month repayment plan and 24 month repayment plan, with interest rates varying by client

Pet Insurance Options

All Creatures has found that pet parents that put their pets on a pet insurance are able to financially manage the care your pet may need throughout his or her life. Whether it’s a one-time injury or a chronic illness, pet insurance is able to help. When shopping for a pet insurance, make sure to do your research. For example: most insurances do not cover the cost for the exam or ER exam fee. Also, no insurance covers ‘pre-existing’ medical issues, so it is best to enroll your pet onto an insurance when they are still young to have the least possible pre-existing conditions.

Some good questions to ask are before enrolling in a plan:

• What goes in to calculating the monthly premium I pay?
• Does the monthly premium increase as my dog ages (aged-based pricing)?
• What is a ‘deductible’ and am I able to change my deductible amount after I enroll? Do I pay the deductible per year or per illness?
• Does the insurance exclude certain illnesses based on the breed type or does it exclude any illnesses in general?
• Is there a cut-off of how much I will be reimbursed for an illness or is it covering the illness indefinitely?

All Creatures has chosen to partner with Trupanion Pet Insurance. This partnership allows client with their insurance to get immediate approval for claims and choose to have that claim payment go directly to the hospital and the client only pays the difference versus paying the charges in full to the hospital and then wait for the claim reimbursement from the insurance weeks after the services occurred. We have vetted and tested Trupanion and have found that clients are very satisfied with the coverage provided by Trupanion. 

Another great option is Nationwide Pet Insurance. They are one of the longest standing pet insurance plans on the market. This is the most common insurance we hear clients are using. The client must have to pay for all their services to the hospital and receive a reimbursement check from Nationwide after the file has been claimed.
